As property experts, we like to keep up to date with all that’s going on in the market, but why keep this to ourselves? So each quarter, we will share some of the most interesting stories and ideas that we come across to inspire you and your property dreams, as well as our own latest blogs and news.
A View From Grant Barnes
Since our last bulletin, there’s been an extension of the stamp duty holiday for a further 3 months. This means the property purchase tax has been suspended on the first £500,000 of all sales in England and Northern Ireland until the end of June. This is great news for buyers who found themselves mid-way through the process at the end of last month.
Another hot topic on the property front, which we are discussing with clients on a daily basis is fire safety in flats. So we’ve written a blog on what the legislative changes are and how they may affect you. Also in this edition, is an article on the dramatic drops in rental demand in the Capital. On a more colourful note, take a look at an article from Good Housekeeping packed with ideas of how to bring Spring into your home.
Best wishes,
Grant
